Make a well in the centre and break an egg into it and beat it

Whisk together with a pinch of salt to a paste

Gradually incorporate the flour, milk, water and seasoning ( an electric hand whisk will do this in seconds)

Heat the frying pan to a medium heat

Preheat the oven to 240ºC / 220°C fan / Gas Mark 8

Add the sausages to the frying pan and quickly brown the outsides

Add the sunflower oil into a baking tin, and pop in your preheat oven whilst the sausages brown

Take the tin out of the oven, carefully, add the sausages and pour your batter over then return to the oven

Cook for 30 minutes. But don't open the oven until at least 25 minutes have passed to check
